Jennifer is a BASI certified pilates instructor. She has created a positive studio environment in London, where clients can enjoy private and semi-private sessions using the finest BASI pilates apparatus. As someone who has been involved in sports such as running as well as dance throughout her life, Jennifer is inspired by the way pilates addresses all aspects of the body in movement, encouraging a mind/body connection that can be transformative bringing bodily strength, long term functional movement, injury prevention and recovery and mental well being. She is guided by the principles of the pilates method which she tailors to each client’s needs, guiding them towards greater mental and physical alignment for peak movement, body awareness and confidence.
Jules is a qualified UK Athletics Running Coach. Coming from a PT background she has always encouraged her athletes to include strength and conditioning as a vital part of training. She has a qualification in Pre / Post-natal exercise and nutrition and is also a Menopause specialist. She is passionate about helping women through these periods of change in their bodies, allowing them to overcome any barriers to exercise and running, working with them to adapt training when necessary and helping them to create a strong body so that they may continue to enjoy their running well in to their later years.
Jenny has been Jules' pilates instructor for many years, having met when their daughters were in the same class at school.
They both have a deep understanding of how pilates for runners can enhance performance.
During their women's fitness retreats you will learn from and share in their expertise, experience and love of both running and pilates..
